APEX Stent Project — AI‑Assisted Biodegradable Stent Research
The APEX Stent Project pioneers the integration of AI into biodegradable coronary stent research. As project lead, responsibilities include:
- Design and implementation of a research database for imaging and experimental data.
- Development and deployment of AI models for automatic SEM/TEM image analysis (YOLO-based pipelines).
- Automated reporting: generating annotated diagnostic overlays and structured reports for corrosion, calcification, and thrombosis assessment.
- Coordinating experimental validation with in vivo models and clinical partners.
